Has anyone read this fantastic book? What did you think?

I liked it, in that I thought it was interesting as an overall book. But I didn't like the narrator, he was so self-serving that I found that offputting. I found it hard to get over that aspect of his personality.

I would definitely agree with you, he certainly had very few likeable qualities, he was totally selfish and only ever looking out for himself. However, I think that was the point, the author was illustrating how impossible it is to be a good person or make the 'right' choices when everyone around you is corrupt, cruel and self-serving........

Read it on hols in June and enjoyed it. Quirky with a good pace to it.
